Harmonic Field Effects in Induction Machines
Bedřich Heller, Václav Hamata
This systematic study summarizes all accessible knowledge about parasitic phenomena accompanying basic physical processes in induction machines. The theory of these machines had already been worked out years ago by distinguished scientists, but in this work the knowledge of the air gap, the distribution of magnetic forces, the magnetic field in the air gap, additional losses, noise, etc., and everything related to accessories of this much used kind, was greatly expanded machinery. At the end of the work there is a list of principles for choosing the number of slots.
